Valentine's Date Ideas from Seattle to Savannah | Life of Something Minted | Destination Wedding Photographer

You and your sweetheart might be looking to do something a little different than the customary dinner & a movie date or chocolate heart with flowers this Valentine's Day. Although I do still adore those sentiments, it's fun to create new memories and traditions too!

Here is a lovely little list of Valentine's weekend date ideas from a Seattle, Washington Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer who is spending the holiday down in Savannah, Georgia! Now, for some unique + local ideas for both areas:
From A Seattle Wedding Photographer
Explore! Nothing says long weekend like a road trip :) From Seattle you can head toward the mountains and find peace and quiet at TreeHouse Point in Issaquah. If you're in the south then take a drive to to Tybee Island and visit one of America's most intact historic lighthouses.

Savor! Whether it's wine tasting at Chateau St. Michelle in Woodinville or honey tasting at a local Savannah Bee Company store, sampling something sweet together is a fun way to discover a new love for local goods.

Delight! You might be wishing for some cozy time cooking together & simply enjoying the day from home. If this sounds like the perfect time alongside your valentine, then prepare for it by visiting a local farmers market for meal ingredients! Seattleites can visit their Neighborhood Farmers Markets and if you're close to Savannah, head to the Forsyth Market at the south end of Forsyth Park in the city's historic district.

I hope you've enjoyed these fun, fresh & romantic date ideas  Be sure to share your Valentine's Day plans with me in the comments below unless they're still a secret!
