What To Wear | Seattle Lifestyle Photographer

Although fleeting, that warmth you feel when you turn your face toward the sun is so uplifting. Spring is in the air in the Pacific Northwest! The sun is starting to set later and the layer of winter fog has lifted! As this new season takes its first breath of cool late winter air, it's time for blush + cocoa and subtle blue hues.

Often photography clients ask me, "what should I wear," lets start with the most important aspect of that question, you. If you want to feel your most comfortable and look as confident as can be, then wearing something familiar to you is essential! I'm not asking you to grab an old jammie shirt, (although I know you could pull it off) rather pair something old with new or bring in a color or piece you love to wear!

When it comes to dressing multiple people for a shoot, I used to say only have one person wear a pattern, but I have since thrown that mantra out the window! Mixing textures and patterns is a lovely concept, if not overdone.
